Ask a Question About the
Bible
Question from the U.S.: Will being saved cause me to do
good things?
Answer: Your faith will produce a work or action. If you 100% believe that something will happen in
your life you will take steps in that direction as if it had already happened. The Bible explains in James 2:17-18, EVEN SO
FAITH, IF IT HATH NOT WORKS IS DEAD ALONE. YEA, A MAN SAY, THOU HAST FAITH WITHOUT THY WORKS, AND I WILL SHOW MY FAITH BY
THY WORKS. Your works are a good indication of you having faith in something. On the same hand your lack of works is a good
indication of a lack of faith. A good illustration of this is the attacks on 9-11. The terrorists truly believed that flying
those planes into the towers would send them to heaven. Their faith produced an action unto death. The sad part to this is
their perception of the truth was not the truth. If you believe the Bible the terrosits died in their sin and yet their faith
in a false god produced a work unto death in their life. When you look at your life what type of work are you producing? What
have you placed your faith in? Is it Jesus, yourself, another false god, or religion? Your works will tell you the truth.
Question from the U.S.: I said a prayer but I am not sure I am saved. I don't feel like I am saved?
Answer:
Why do people fail to act on what they profess they beleive? The truth is that we can say things with our mouth that we have
preprogramed in our mind without believing our words in our heart. Just because we say something doesn't mean we truly believe
it. We live in a time of political correctness where we are afraid to say what we truly believe. In schools and at home we
are taught to say only the things to promote ourselves and gain the most advantage in life without offending anyone. The book
stores are filled with self help and mind directional books to help us get in touch with ourselves when the truth is we just
need to be honest with ourselves. This disconnection with our heart and mind has caused many people to say they believe what
they have been preprogramed to think. If you ask them why do you believe what you believe they don't have an answer. They
don't have a 100% confident belief in what they say they have faith in. This disconnection of heart and mind produces doubt.
This doubt causes a lack of production of works. We just need to get in touch with our hearts and be honest with ourselves.
Simply ask yourself what do I truly believe? Is it the Bible? When we get our heart and mind on the same page our doubt will
disappear.
Question from the U.S.: What is the truth about God?
Answer: The truth about God is
the message of the gospel. The word gospel means good news and the good news is that God loves you personally. God loves you
so much that He sent you His only begotten Son, Jesus-Christ. John 3:16, FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY
BEGOTTON SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. Jesus-Christ is God in flesh and
blood. The precious lamb of God that was slain for your sins and mine. Sin is simply disobedience to God that can be traced
back to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. When they sinned, sin was passed to you and me. Romans 5:12, WHERFORE, AS BY ONE
MAN SIN ENTERED INTO THE WORLD, AND DEATH BY SIN; AND SO DEATH PASSED UPON ALL MEN, FOR ALL HAVE SINNED: We have all disobeyed
or sinned against God. Romans 3:23, FOR ALL HAVE SINNED, AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. That sin seperates us from God.
God is Holy (or perfect) 2 Samuel 22;31, AS FOR GOD, HIS WAY IS PERFECT: Since God is Holy and we are not, there is a problem
between man and God. How can a unperfect man come to a God who is perfect and Holy. God had a plan before He formed man from
the dust of the ground. God created Adam and Eve and gave them a free will to choose or reject Him. Before God created man
He knew that He would have to send His only begotten Son to bridge the seperation between God and man. God's personal will
for you is to come to Jesus-Christ and have your sins forgiven. Have you asked Jesus-Christ to forgive your sins and become
the Lord of your life? If not do so right now.
Qustions from the U.S.: How do I live for God?
Answer:
We need to apply God's truth (the Bible) to every aspect our life by faith. Since we have a free will and can choose to place
our attention any where we want there is a desperate need to fix our focus on the Bible. Not only do we have to contend with
our flesh but the world is constantly trying to get our attention and lead us astray. With three enemies (the world, the flesh,
and the devil) trying to get us to make the wrong decisions we must keep our eyes on Jesus. Our circumstances can be deceiving,
confusing, and fearful, at times, but knowing God loves me and has His best for me, motivates me to focus on His words. I
should focus on God with an eye of faith for His direction in my life. Proverbs3:5-6, TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART;
AND LEAN NOT ON THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEGE HIM AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATH. The Bible gives us an
example in Matthew 14:22-31. In this story Peter had just witnessed the miracle of Jesus-Christ feeding 5000 men plus women
and children. Peter and the disciples get on a ship to cross the sea while Jesus disappears in the crowd to go and pray. Here
comes Peter again with a need in his life. The storms are ragging and Peter and the disciples need help. Peter starts looking
for help toward the seas and Jesus speaks them with instruction and comfort. In verse 27 Jesus says "BE OF GOOD CHEER
IT IS I BE NOT AFRAID" and in verse 29 He says," COME". Peter's eye of faith was on Jesus. Then his faith proceeded
to action by stepping out of the boat onto the water. As Peter was walking on the water he had his eyes fixed on Jesus. Peter
then did what a lot of us do, he took his eyes off Jesus and placed them on his circumstances. When Peter started focusing
on his circumstances he began to sink. Peter then, being in trouble, focused his attention back on Jesus. Peter cried out
to Him and was restored. Isn't that just like us. We see God's power in our life and the next trial comes our way. Instead
of trusting Jesus for the circumstances we turn our attention away and begin to sink. Why don't we trust God, who time after
time, has provided what I need when I need it? If we do have faith enough to "step out of the boat" as Peter did
why don't we keep our focus on God? The truth is our doubt to trust God robs us of our faith. Without faith it is impossible
to please God. Our faith in Him exhibits our love to Him and allows His power to reign and rule in our life. I have learned
when God tells me to do something for Him through His word I should take a step and trust Him to put the ground underneath
my feet. How precious is it to experience the love of God if we will trust Him
Question
from the U.S.:I go to church and believe in Jesus so i will go to heaven, right? Answer: As I talk to people about what they
believe, I have come to a conclusion. We are a generation that does not know what we believe and why we believe it. We don't
even understand what believe means. Today we live in the information age. We input information and move on without thinking
about what we are doing. I have found people also do this with faith. People today confuse faith with a partial agreement.
It is possible to partialy agree with something without having faith in that item. Faith is a 100% confident belief based
on on my perception of the truth by my examination of the evidence to the item I place my faith in. Partial agreement is a
50% to 99% agreeable belief based on my perception of the truth based on my examination of the evidence to the item I am in
agreement with. Disagreement is a 0% to 49% agreeable belief based on my perception of the truth upon my examination of the
evidence to an item I don't agree with. If I have less than a 100% confident belief it is not faith. Ephesians 2:8 FOR BY
GRACE ARE YOU SAVED THROUGH FAITH: AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. We are saved from our sins by God's
free gift Jesus-Christ. Our 100% confident belief in the finished work of Calvary. Not of anything we do of ourselves. A 90%
partial agreement in Jesus and 10% in my good works is not faith. The sad thing about this is that people that have not placed
their faith in Jesus-Christ and Him alone are not saved. Their perception of the truth is not based on the clear teachings
of the Bible. Do you have faith in Jesus-Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not, you can place your faith in Him. Ask Him
through prayer right now. Tell Jesus your a sinner and you are willing to turn from your sin and place your faith for forgiveness
of your sins in His death on the cross for salvation of your soul. Question from the U.S.:Do I need to belive in God because
I am a good person? Answer: The most important decision a person can make is, will I have faith in God? What is you perception
of the truth about God? What is the evidence that you base your decision on? If you ask a 100 people if they believe in God?
Almost everyone of them would say thier is a God. If you ask them to define who God is? You would get many answers from a
spirit, to a force, to a grandpa on a porch. Many people have different perceptions of God based on what they have been taught,
told, and feel based on experiences they have had. I gave an illustration of how I really believed in Santa Clause because
of the evidence provided to me as a child. The same is said about your perception of God. You have formed an opinion about
God based on the evidence you have been given or gathered yourself. You need to ask yourself a question? Is the information
that I have gathered the truth or just my perception of the truth. God understands that you need the truth and He left us
the truth, The Bible. Romans 10:17, says SO THEN FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD. The Bible is God's
truth. It is 100% perfect and with out error. It's pages hold 66 love letters addressed personally to you. In these books
of the Bible God tells of His love for you. God explains Himself to you, your position to Him, and your future relationship
to Him. In this dispensation of grace we live in today, God speaks to us through His word, the Bible. To understand the truth
you must look at the evidence. When you hold a Bible, you are holding God's word, truth, voice, and evidence. John 17:17,
SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH THY TRUTH: THY WORD IS TRUTH. Have you examined the evidence for yourself? Question from the U.S.: Do
you have a problem living for Jesus? Answer: It would seem, by now, that after studing faith and seeing how fatih in God has
impacted my life that I would have more faith. Week after week I have seen souls saved, lives changed, all my needs met, God
performing so many miraculous things in my life that I should not have any problem with faith. I shouldn't have a problem
with trusting God with anything in my life. The truth is that I struggle with my faith just like everyone else. I have trusted
Jesus-Christ as my Lord and Savior. I have no doubt that I will spend eternity in Heaven with God. So why do I get so upset
when I get an unexpected bill in my mailbox? Why do I worry when I get sick and wonder how will I pay my bills? After all
God has done for me why would I worry or doubt? I have a problem with faith because of my flesh. When I asked Jesus-Christ
to save my soul, He did. My soul consists of my mind, will, and emotions. Your soul is the part of you that looks back at
yourself when you look in the mirror. Not only do we have a soul but we are mad of flesh and blood also. Our flesh has its
own wants and desires. So we have a conflict between our soul and flesh. Galations 5:17, FOR THE FLESH LUSTETH AGAINST THE
SPIRIT, AND THE SPIRIT AGAINST THE FLESH: AND THESE ARE CONTRARY THE ONE TO THE OTHER: SO YOU CANNOT DO THE THINGS THAT YOU
WOULD. My flesh, which has its appetites and desires, can distract me from the truth which my faith is based on. Daily, I
must relize, that I must submit my will to God's will for my life with an eye of faith. Galations 2:20 I AM CRUCIFIED WITH
CHRIST: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE
FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME.I daily must yeild my fleshly will to God's will for my life.
God has a will (plan and porpouse) for your life. It is different from everyone elses. God's will for your life hinges on
the truth (the Bible). God gave us a free will to accept Him and His love or reject Him. God could of made us obey Him like
robots but if you force someone to obey you it is not a choice of obedience or love. God's will for us is for us to obey Him.
That obedience is the best thing for us. His love for us is the "root" of why God wants us to obey Him. God has
provided everything we need and desire that would bring us true contentment and happiness in our lives. It is our selfish,
fleshly will inside of us that want's our needs met in a way we think is best. When we fail to have faith for God to meet
our needs we sin. That is the "root" of sin. Me trying to meet my needs independent of God's plan for my life. We
lift ourselves up and tell God we will do it our way. The problem is that God knows us better than we know ourselves. The
Bible says that God even has the hairs on our head numbered. Luke 12:2, BUT EVEN THE VERY HAIRS OF YOUR HEAD ARE NUMBERED.
FEAR NOT THEREFORE YE ARE MORE VALUE THAN MANY SPARROWS. If God knows if we grow or loose one hair on our head then He surly
knows what is best for you. God knows what we need and when we need it. Our faith in God the Father, God the Son, and God
the Holy Ghost, through the direction of His truth(the Bible), will provide us with satisfaction, contetment, and joy. Both
in this life and the eternal life to come. God's will for you is to be conformed into the likeness of Jesus-Christ.
Question from the U.S.: Do I really need a Bible to tell me how
to live?
Answer: The most precious possession any one can have is God's word, The Holy Bible. It is God's word
for me personally. 100% truth without error. Loved by Christians an hated by the devil. It is the best selling book on the
planet. Although the Bible is the most published and possessed book on the planet, it is the least read book by those who
posses it. The devil will do all he can to prevent you from reading its pages because of the Bibles life changing power. Within
its pages are written life's instruction manual. The pages of the Bible contain the keys to success in every area of life
from finances, to health, to relationships, to every aspect of life. The Holy Bible is consistant to todays time and issues.
It is never outdated and within its pages are described "living words". The word Bible is defined as "sacred
scriptures or word of God". The word Holy means perfect so the very title of the book means "perfect word of God".
The Bible was written by God in a process called inspiration. The word inspiration means to stir into action, life breathed,
or inhaled. God moved upon men dramatically to specifically write specific things from eyewitness accounts. 2 Timothy 3:16,
ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY GOD, AND IS PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, FOR REPROOF, FOR CORRECTION, FOR INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS:
The Bible has been with God since the beginning of time. John 1:1, IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD, AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD,
AND THE WORD WAS GOD. The first scriptures were written in the Hebrew language on parchment paper that were rolled into scrolls.
They contained the Old Testiment scriptures. God used Moses to pen down the first books of the Bible called the law. God used
subsequent Godly men to pen down the other books of the Old Testiment. When God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus-Christ,
the New Testiment was written from eyewitness accounts of His life, ministry, death, accession, and promise of comming again
to receive His Church. These scriptures were written in the Greek language and were hand copied by scribes for thier authenticity.
Several accounts were written about Jesus-Christ and His many miracles. God chose and perserved these accounts in the Bible
we now hold in our hands. John 20:30-31, AND MANY SIGNS TRULY DID JESUS IN THE PRESENCES OF HIS DISIPILES, WHICH ARE NOT WRITTEN
IN THIS BOOK: BUT THESE ARE WRITTEN, THAT YE MAY BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD; AND THAT BELIEVING YE MIGHT
HAVE LIFE THROUGH HIS NAME. The Bible contains 66 books with two sections. The Old Testiment and the New Testiment. The word
testiment means covenant and the word covenant means promise. The simple message of the Old Testiment is "Jesus is coming".
The simple message of the New Testiment is "Jesus is here and in Him you can eternal life and forgiveness of sin".
Many people have tried to eliminate the Bible and distort its message not to mention its authenticity. You can rest assured
that if you are holding a King James Bible you are holding a direct hand scribed copy of the word of God from the original
manuscripts in the English langugage.
Question from Ghana: Which Bible should i read?
Answer:Today
we have many versions of the authorized English translated, 1611 King James Bible. The NIV, ASVB, NKJB, Living Bible, and
many others. These versions were created to help ease the understanding of the Old English to modern day English. Unfortunately
some of these translations and versions are not hand scribed from the original manuscripts. When this happens some items are
"lost in translation". Some of the new translations have left out the Blood of Jesus, the virgin birth, and the
deity of Jesus-Christ. Each and every word of the Bible mirrors itself. It is very deep and transcends time, so it is very
important that you have a hand scribed copy of the word of God, the King James Bible. I suggest reading a King James Bible
with a good Websters dictionary to explain words you don't understand. The one I use breaks down every word and shows how
the word was derived into our english language. From Genisis to Revelation, all of the Bible is truth. Your faith is based
on your perception of the truth. If you percieve the Bible to be less than 100% truth you will have trouble having faith in
the things of the Bible. If you don't believe that God's word is truth I would challenge you to put your reasons on paper.
Reserach them through the Bible and God will show you His word is truth
Question from the U.S.: Why do I need to believe in Jesus because I am a good person
and do good things?
Answer: Jesus-Christ willingly died for you sins when He was crucified on the cross at Calvary.
If you accept Jesus-Christ's free gift by surrendering your heart and soul to him, your sin debt will be forgiven and you
will spend eternity with God in Heaven. Ephesians 2:8, FOR BY GRACE ARE YOU SAVED THROUGH FAITH: AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES:
IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. The word saved means (free from the price of sin) and grace is (God's undeserved, unearned love) through
faith(100% confident belief in the truth). We don't deserve God's love or forgiveness. If we believe the truth of God's word,
God will save you. Romans 5:8 BUT GOD COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, ON THAT, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS,CHRIST DIED FOR US.
The truth is that you are a sinner, and Jesus-Christ is the only Savior. Romans 10:9, THAT IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY
MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALT BE SAVED. Verse 10, FOR
WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTOUSNESS AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION. Will you surrender your
heart and life to Jesus? You can do that right now through prayer (talking to God)."Dear Jesus, I surrender my heart
and life to you. I believe that I have disobeyed and sinned against You and that sin has seperated me from you. I am willing
right now to turn from my sins, to You, And trust when Jesus died on the cross by shedding his blood he paid my sin debt.
I ask you to come into my heart, forgive my sins, and save my soul. Amen". God's word, the Bible, clearly states that
if you place your faith in Him you become an adopted child in His family. God comes and lives inside your heart in the form
of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:6-7, AND BECAUSE YOU ARE SONS, GOD HATH SET FORTH THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON INTO YOUR HEARTS,
CRYING, ABBA FATHER. WHERFORE THOU ART NO MORE A SERVANT, BUT A SON: AND IF A SON, THEN AN HEIR OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST. God's
Holy Spirit guides you to all truth. John 6:13, HOWBEIT THEN WHEN HE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, IS COME, HE WILL GUIDE YOU UNTO
ALL TRUTH: FOR HE SHALL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF: BUT WHATSOEVER HE SHALL HEAR, THAT SHALL HE SPEAK: AND HE WILL SHOW YOU ALL
THINGS TO COME. Understand that there is only one God. He has three parts called the trinity. God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Holy Ghost. 2 Corinthians 13:14, THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS-CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE COMMUNION OF
THE HOLY GHOST, BE WITH YOU, AMEN. The trinity is easy to understand. I often use the illastration of water, steam, and ice.
If I have one glass of water and poured 1/3 into an ice tray and put it in the freezer I would make ice. If I put 1/3 of that
glass of water in a pot and put it on the stove I would make steam. The original glass of water would take on three forms.
This illastration can be used to describe how God came in the form of man, Jesus-Christ. It also illastrates how that same
God can come and live in your heart as the Holy Ghost, while at the same time still be God the Father. The Bible states that
their is only one God who is holy (or perfect). You can have faith in the only true God, the God of the Bible. The blessed
trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. He is the truth. John 14:6, JESUS SAITH UNTO HIM, I AM THE WAY,
THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE: NO MAN COMETH TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME. He is the ony way. There is no other way to be accepted By
God the Father, except you be forgiven by God the Son, Jesus-Christ. Only then can God the Holy Ghost come to live within
your heart. According to the Bible this is the only way to gain acceptance from God and be placed into His family. The truth
is, without Jesus, your seperation from God will continue untill you die because of your personal sin debt. Once you pass
from this life to the next, you will be eternally seperated from God to a place the Bible calls Hell. You might ask? but what
about all the good things I have done? I am sorry but they don't measure up to the perfection of God. Your perception of the
truth will not matter on the day when you stand before the Holy God of the Bible. The only thing that will matter on that
day is what did I do with God's truth? Did I recieve Jesus-Christ? Are my sins forgiven? When God opens the Lamb's Book of
Life is my name written in it? If your not saved you can be saved right now!
Question from the U.S.: Will being saved cause me to do good
things?
Answer: Your faith will produce a work or action. If you 100% believe that something will happen in your
life you will take steps in that direction as if it had already happened. The Bible explains in James 2:17-18, EVEN SO FAITH,
IF IT HATH NOT WORKS IS DEAD ALONE. YEA, A MAN SAY, THOU HAST FAITH WITHOUT THY WORKS, AND I WILL SHOW MY FAITH BY THY WORKS.
Your works are a good indication of you having faith in something. On the same hand your lack of works is a good indication
of a lack of faith. A good illustration of this is the attacks on 9-11. The terrorists truly believed that flying those planes
into the towers would send them to heaven. Their faith produced an action unto death. The sad part to this is their perception
of the truth was not the truth. If you believe the Bible the terrosits died in their sin and yet their faith in a false god
produced a work unto death in their life. When you look at your life what type of work are you producing? What have you placed
your faith in? Is it Jesus, yourself, another false god, or religion? Your works will tell you the truth.

The most important decision a person can make is, will I have faith in God? What is you perception of the truth about God?
What is the evidence that you base your decision on? If you ask a 100 people if they believe in God? Almost everyone of them
would say thier is a God. If you ask them to define who God is? You would get many answers from a spirit, to a force, to a
grandpa on a porch. Many people have different perceptions of God based on what they have been taught, told, and feel based
on experiences they have had. I gave an illustration of how I really believed in Santa Clause because of the evidence provided
to me as a child. The same is said about your perception of God. You have formed an opinion about God based on the evidence
you have been given or gathered yourself. You need to ask yourself a question? Is the information that I have gathered the
truth or just my perception of the truth. God understands that you need the truth and He left us the truth, The Bible. Romans
10:17, says SO THEN FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD. The Bible is God's truth. It is 100% perfect
and with out error. It's pages hold 66 love letters addressed personally to you. In these books of the Bible God tells of
His love for you. God explains Himself to you, your position to Him, and your future relationship to Him. In this dispensation
of grace we live in today, God speaks to us through His word, the Bible. To understand the truth you must look at the evidence.
When you hold a Bible, you are holding God's word, truth, voice, and evidence. John 17:17, SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH THY TRUTH:
THY WORD IS TRUTH. Have you examined the evidence for yourself? Question from the U.S.: Do you have a problem living for Jesus?
Answer: It would seem, by now, that after studing faith and seeing how fatih in God has impacted my life that I would have
more faith. Week after week I have seen souls saved, lives changed, all my needs met, God performing so many miraculous things
in my life that I should not have any problem with faith. I shouldn't have a problem with trusting God with anything in my
life. The truth is that I struggle with my faith just like everyone else. I have trusted Jesus-Christ as my Lord and Savior.
I have no doubt that I will spend eternity in Heaven with God. So why do I get so upset when I get an unexpected bill in my
mailbox? Why do I worry when I get sick and wonder how will I pay my bills? After all God has done for me why would I worry
or doubt? I have a problem with faith because of my flesh. When I asked Jesus-Christ to save my soul, He did. My soul consists
of my mind, will, and emotions. Your soul is the part of you that looks back at yourself when you look in the mirror. Not
only do we have a soul but we are mad of flesh and blood also. Our flesh has its own wants and desires. So we have a conflict
between our soul and flesh. Galations 5:17, FOR THE FLESH LUSTETH AGAINST THE SPIRIT, AND THE SPIRIT AGAINST THE FLESH: AND
THESE ARE CONTRARY THE ONE TO THE OTHER: SO YOU CANNOT DO THE THINGS THAT YOU WOULD. My flesh, which has its appetites and
desires, can distract me from the truth which my faith is based on. Daily, I must relize, that I must submit my will to God's
will for my life with an eye of faith. Galations 2:20 I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST
LIVETH IN ME: AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF
FOR ME.I daily must yeild my fleshly will to God's will for my life. God has a will (plan and porpouse) for your life. It
is different from everyone elses. God's will for your life hinges on the truth (the Bible). God gave us a free will to accept
Him and His love or reject Him. God could of made us obey Him like robots but if you force someone to obey you it is not a
choice of obedience or love. God's will for us is for us to obey Him. That obedience is the best thing for us. His love for
us is the "root" of why God wants us to obey Him. God has provided everything we need and desire that would bring
us true contentment and happiness in our lives. It is our selfish, fleshly will inside of us that want's our needs met in
a way we think is best. When we fail to have faith for God to meet our needs we sin. That is the "root" of sin.
Me trying to meet my needs independent of God's plan for my life. We lift ourselves up and tell God we will do it our way.
The problem is that God knows us better than we know ourselves. The Bible says that God even has the hairs on our head numbered.
Luke 12:2, BUT EVEN THE VERY HAIRS OF YOUR HEAD ARE NUMBERED. FEAR NOT THEREFORE YE ARE MORE VALUE THAN MANY SPARROWS. If
God knows if we grow or loose one hair on our head then He surly knows what is best for you. God knows what we need and when
we need it. Our faith in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, through the direction of His truth(the Bible),
will provide us with satisfaction, contetment, and joy. Both in this life and the eternal life to come. God's will for you
is to be conformed into the likeness of Jesus-Christ.
Question from the U.S.: Will being saved cause me to do good things?
Answer:
Your faith will produce a work or action. If you 100% believe that something will happen in your life you will take steps
in that direction as if it had already happened. The Bible explains in James 2:17-18, EVEN SO FAITH, IF IT HATH NOT WORKS
IS DEAD ALONE. YEA, A MAN SAY, THOU HAST FAITH WITHOUT THY WORKS, AND I WILL SHOW MY FAITH BY THY WORKS. Your works are a
good indication of you having faith in something. On the same hand your lack of works is a good indication of a lack of faith.
A good illustration of this is the attacks on 9-11. The terrorists truly believed that flying those planes into the towers
would send them to heaven. Their faith produced an action unto death. The sad part to this is their perception of the truth
was not the truth. If you believe the Bible the terrosits died in their sin and yet their faith in a false god produced a
work unto death in their life. When you look at your life what type of work are you producing? What have you placed your faith
in? Is it Jesus, yourself, another false god, or religion? Your works will tell you the truth.
Question from the
U.S.: I said a prayer but I am not sure I am saved. I don't feel like I am saved?
Answer: Why do people fail to
act on what they profess they beleive? The truth is that we can say things with our mouth that we have preprogramed in our
mind without believing our words in our heart. Just because we say something doesn't mean we truly believe it. We live in
a time of political correctness where we are afraid to say what we truly believe. In schools and at home we are taught to
say only the things to promote ourselves and gain the most advantage in life without offending anyone. The book stores are
filled with self help and mind directional books to help us get in touch with ourselves when the truth is we just need to
be honest with ourselves. This disconnection with our heart and mind has caused many people to say they believe what they
have been preprogramed to think. If you ask them why do you believe what you believe they don't have an answer. They don't
have a 100% confident belief in what they say they have faith in. This disconnection of heart and mind produces doubt. This
doubt causes a lack of production of works. We just need to get in touch with our hearts and be honest with ourselves. Simply
ask yourself what do I truly believe? Is it the Bible? When we get our heart and mind on the same page our doubt will disappear.
Question from the U.S.: What is the truth about God?
Answer: The truth about God is the message
of the gospel. The word gospel means good news and the good news is that God loves you personally. God loves you so much that
He sent you His only begotten Son, Jesus-Christ. John 3:16, FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTON SON,
THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. Jesus-Christ is God in flesh and blood. The
precious lamb of God that was slain for your sins and mine. Sin is simply disobedience to God that can be traced back to Adam
and Eve in the garden of Eden. When they sinned, sin was passed to you and me. Romans 5:12, WHERFORE, AS BY ONE MAN SIN ENTERED
INTO THE WORLD, AND DEATH BY SIN; AND SO DEATH PASSED UPON ALL MEN, FOR ALL HAVE SINNED: We have all disobeyed or sinned against
God. Romans 3:23, FOR ALL HAVE SINNED, AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. That sin seperates us from God. God is Holy (or
perfect) 2 Samuel 22;31, AS FOR GOD, HIS WAY IS PERFECT: Since God is Holy and we are not, there is a problem between man
and God. How can a unperfect man come to a God who is perfect and Holy. God had a plan before He formed man from the dust
of the ground. God created Adam and Eve and gave them a free will to choose or reject Him. Before God created man He knew
that He would have to send His only begotten Son to bridge the seperation between God and man. God's personal will for you
is to come to Jesus-Christ and have your sins forgiven. Have you asked Jesus-Christ to forgive your sins and become the Lord
of your life?
should focus on God with an eye of faith for His direction in my life. Proverbs3:5-6, TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART;
