The Word of the Lord comes to Me Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
continue the Book of Ezekiel with Chapter 6. In our text today we see Ezekiel prophesies against the mountains
as the Word of the Lord came unto him. In making application my attention is focused on how the Lord speaks to us through
His Word. Today some believe that our Bible is just a book of do's and don'ts but the truth is the Bible is the Living Word
of God that the Holy Spirit will use to instruct and guide us. How about you? Do you seek the Lord through His Word? Let us
learn from our text today and how the Word of the Lord came to Ezekiel to remember that the Lord still speaks to us through
the pages of the Bible. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

High StandardsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue the Book of Ezekiel with Chapter 5. In our text today we see Jerusalem being a made
a public example as God's people are held to a high standard with their open sin. In making application we see that those
who have been saved are God's people and have been engrafted into the family of God. Being part of the family we are held
to a higher standard sin which causes our heavenly Father to be quick to discipline us. Today we have many believing that
we can live in sin since we live in a day of grace but the truth is we represent the Lord since He lives in us. How about
you? Do you see that the Lord holds us to a high standard when it comes to sin after we are saved? Let us learn from our text
today to see that our lives affect others and others are watching us so we need to let the Lord shine through us
as we share the Lord with a lost and dying world. Thank You, David Burnette,

Listening to the LordEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue the Book of Ezekiel with Chapter 4. In our text today we see the Lord giving Ezekiel
visions of sin and judgment. In making application we see the Lord still communicates with us through the pages of the
Bible. The Lord lovingly communicates with us through the pages of the Bible. Our salvation, our relationships, our
finances, and our lives have the Lords instruction through the pages of the Bible. How about you? Do you listen to the Lord? Let
us learn from out text today and example of Ezekieal to see that the Lord loves us and communicates with us through His Word
and His Spirit for salvation and every area of our life. Thank You, David Burnette,

A Watchman Each day we walk through the Bible chapter
by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each
day's text. Today we continue the Book of Ezekiel with Chapter 3. In our text today we see God appoints
Ezekiel to be a spiritual watchman to stand and warn the people of approaching spiritual danger. In making application
we see the Lord has given us His Word for truth and we, as the Body of Christ, are to be watchman sharing the truth of Sin
and the Savior, Heaven and Hell, and the Love of God. How about you? Are responding to the call to be a watchman. Let us learn
from our text today and the life of Ezekiel to see that the Lord has instructed us to be a watchman and tell others of Heaven
and Hell, Sin and the Grave, and the Glorious Gospel that can change a persons eternal destiny. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible

The Lord's CallEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue the Book of Ezekiel with Chapter 2. In our text today we see God calls Ezekiel
to go tell the people of God His Message. In making application we see that the Lord still calls His Children to tell others
the Good News of Jesus-Christ and to preach or proclaim the Word of the Lord. Today, all Christians have a part in this
calling as the Lord has instructed all who have been saved to tell everyone of how to be saved. How about you? Have
you responded to the Call of the Lord? Let us learn from out text today and the example of Ezekiel to see that the
Lord has called all of us to share the Gospel with every person in the world. Thank You, David

God's Vision for Your Life Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
start the Book of Ezekiel Chapter 1. In our text today we see Ezekiel's call and commission as the Lord
gives him visions to help the displaced understand, define false beliefs, give a message of hope, and a call to
obey God. In making application we see that we have the complete vision of our Lord in the Pages of the Bible. Some will say
they have new revelations from God and attempt to lead others astray but the truth is we have the Word of God in the
Pages of the Bible. How about you? Do you read your Bible? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Ezekiel's vision
to see that the Lord has given us His Word and His Direction for our lives and it can be found in the Pages of the Bible. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

Prayer can move MountainsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Lamentations Chapter 5. In our text today we see Jeremiah pleads
for restoration for God's people through prayer. In making application we see the power of prayer as God did answer Jeremiah's
prayer even when no one would listen to him. Today many of us face huge obstacles in our life that seem impossible
but we can pray. Prayer can move the mountains in your life. How about you? Do you Pray? Let us learn from our text today
and the example of Jeremiah to remember that Prayer can do the impossible towards the obstacles we face that
are beyond our control. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

Follow the Lord not Man Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of
our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Lamentations Chapter 4. In our text today we see how we can follow man verses God as King Zedekiah followed
false prophets instead of the Lord. As a result the people followed the false leadership that lead them into judgement. In
making application we see how we can mistakenly follow charismatic men instead of our Lord and His Word. Today many are lead
astray as they place their trust in these false leaders and as a result face the judgment of God. How about you? Who
do you follow? Let us learn from our text today to see that we must follow the Lord and not the charismatic leaders of the
day who could lead us down the wrong path.

Hope in the midst of AfflictionEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Lamentations Chapter 3. In our text today we see Hope in the midst of
affliction as Jeremiah sees both God's wrath and His mercy as He is a just God and a Holy God. In making application
we see why we must be saved as unholy man cannot approach a Holy God without our sins being forgiven. Today many
think they will go to Heaven because they believe they are good but next to a Holy God we see why it takes the Blood
of Jesus-Christ to save a person from their sin. How about you? Do you see why we must be saved? Let us learn from our
text today and the words of Jeremiah to see the hope in the midst of our affliction of sin is that a Holy God loves
us so much that He gave His own Son to Pay the Price of my sin. Thank You, David

SalvationEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Lamentations Chapter 2. In our text today we see God's anger at sin and
a call for repentance and Godly sorrow as we approach a Holy God for our forgiveness of sin. In making application we see
that true salvation is Given by our Lord by Grace through faith in Jesus-Christ's finished work at Calvary. That being
said we must approach the Lord understanding how we have transgressed against God with a heart of being willing to repent
or turn from our sin. How about you? Are you Saved? Let us learn from our text today to remember that true salvation comes
from the Lord when we approach Him with our sin asking Him to forgive us. Thank You, David

How Do You Measure Success? Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 52. In our text today we see the details on the fall of
Jerusalem as we end this book where, in the worlds eyes, Jeremiah looked to be unsuccessful. He had no money, family, or friends.
No group followed his advice yet in the Eyes of the Lord He was a success because He did what he was instructed to do. In
making application we see that Our Lord measures success in obedience. Our obedience will not produce worldly fruit but will
produce Godly eternal fruit. How about you? How do you measure success? Let us learn from our text today and the life of Jeremiah
to see that God measures success in obedience and rewards us eternally in Heaven in ways that are far and above anything here
on earth. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

Shifting SandEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 51. In our text today we see how the people must fear
or reverence the power of God verses the power of man. Here the people of God feared the Babalyonians vesrses our Lord and
in doing so placed their reverence in man which ended up in destruction. In making application we see that today many still
do the same fearing or reverencing the world or the world's system over our Lord and it reminds me
of building a house on shifting sand. If we place our trust on the wrong foundation our house will not stand and eventually
will fall. How about you? Do you fear or reverence the world over our Lord? Let us learn from our text today to remember that
we should fear the Lord over man so we will build the foundation of our lives on His foundation verses a life built on shifting
sand that will eventually collapse. Thank You, David Burnette,

Beware of Pride Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in
the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah
50. In our text today we continue to look at the enemies of God and the Chaldeans or the people of Babylon. Pride was
Babylon's characteristic sin as they felt self sufficant believing they don't need God. Pride always comes before a fall and
we see how Babalon fell. In making application we see that our pride comes before us and the Lord and ultimately causes us
to fall. Today the world preaches a message of pride and believing in one self but the truth is that our hope and help comes
from the Lord. How about you? Do you struggle with Pride? Let us learn from our text today and the Example of the enemies
of God to see that pride does come before a fall so we should stay humble before the Lord Thank You, David

Be IN the World not OF the World Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 48. In our text today we see Jeremiah speaking of the
Moabites who were enemies of God's People. Their pride led to their destruction but God's people intermingled with the Moabites
which led to many problems of idolatry and sin. In making application we see that we are called IN the World to share the
Gospel but are not to be OF the world. We are no to compromise our standards and intermingle with their ways. How about
you? Do you compromise your stance with the World? Let us learn from our text today to see that the world has its standard
and in constantly seeking us to compromise our position so we should be IN the World sharing the Gospel verses being OF the
World and compromising our walk with the Lord. Thank You, David Burnette,

Our Enemies Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 47. In our text today we see the Philistines mentioned
as a reoccurring enemy of the People of God. The Lord brings victory over their enemies but allows this thorn in their
side to buffet them. In making application we see how we will always have enemies in our lives and how the Lord allows them
as a thorn to help us showing us to depend on Him. Now the Lord could eliminate all of our enemies but instead the Lord uses
these thorns in our lives to conform us into the likeness of Jesus-Christ. How about you? Do you have enemies? Let us learn
from our text today to understand these enemies will always be with us thorns in our flesh will cause us to turn to Lord,
seek Him, depend on Him, and in yielding our lives to Christ will allow the Lord to mature us and conform us into His likeness. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible

There is a Balm in Gilead Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
continue in the Book of Jeremiah 46. In our text today we see Prophecies about foreign nations looking
today at the Egyptians giving his purpose for Israel, how God will not tolerate sin, how God is Holy, how He wants all
to come to Him giving an example of a balm in Gilead that will heal all wounds. In making application we see that Jesus is
that balm that will heal a person of their sin sickness. How about you? Have you applied the balm of Jesus to your sin sickness?
Let us learn from our text today and the example given of this balm of Gilead which is a picture of Jesus-Christ and examine
ourselves to see if we have this balm to our lives so we will be healed of our sin sick condition. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

Keep Your Eyes on JesusEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
continue in the Book of Jeremiah 45. In our text today we see Baruch who was the scribe of Jeremiah being
upset in the service of the Lord as he took his eyes off Jesus. In making application we see how that we can loose our focus
and joy when we get eyes off Jesus. All who are saved will have a ministry or service of the Lord and if we take
our eyes off Jesus we will be as Baruch, upset in the service of Sarah. How about you? Do you get frustrated in your
service to the Lord? Let us learn from out text today and the example of Baruch to see that if we take our eyes off Jesus we
will have the tendency to loose our joy as we attempt to serve the Lord in our flesh verses serving them in
the power of the Lord. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

On Your OwnEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 43. In our text today we see the people refusing to believe
the Lord and thought if they took Jeremiah with them then would they gain favor with God. In making application many believe
they will be judged of God by what their parents or family did. Today many believe they will go to Heaven because they were
born and raised in a Christian Home. The truth is every person is judged on their own sin and must come to Christ on their
own to be saved. How about you? Do you believe you will go to Heaven on the merits of others? Let us learn from our text
today and the example in our text to be reminded that we go to Heaven based on our own salvation and not on the
merit of others. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

Seek the Lord - Not the WorldEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
continue in the Book of Jeremiah 42. In our text today we see how God warns His people to not go
to Egypt for those who live by the sword shall die by the sword. In making application we see that Egypt is a type
of the world and we are instructed to not go to the world for things we need but to rather go to our Lord. How about you?
Do you go to the world for your needs? Let us learn from our text today and the example in Jeremiah to remember the Lord

Godlessness leads to LawlessnessEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
continue in the Book of Jeremiah 41. In our text today we see Governor Gedaliah is assassinated and with
this action Ishmael robbed and killed several men because of the lack of Authority and no respect for God. In making application
we see that Godlessness leads to lawlessness. We see that those who do not acknowledge God do not acknowledge authority and
actually make themselves their own God doing what is right in their own eyes. How about you? Do you have an issue with authority?
Let us learn from our text today and the example of Ismael in our text today to see that Godlessness leads to lawlessness
and a form of self idolatry that imposes its will on others. Thank You, David

A True GiftEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
continue in the Book of Jeremiah 39. In our text today we see Nebuchadnezzar captures Jerusalem
and Jeremiah was imprisoned yet saved by His faith in the Lord while the King Zedekiah was consumed by his fear. In making
application we see how we are saved by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus. Today many are like Zedekiah, consumed by themselves
and their fear they miss the opportunity to be saved. How about You? Have you received Jesus as your savior? Let us learn
from our text today and the life of Jeremiah to be reminded that we are saved by grace through faith, it is not of ourselves,
it is a true gift of our Lord. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

God or Man?Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 38. In our text today we see Jeremiah is rescued
from certain death from the hands of the King because Ebed-melech dealt with his injustice with the King. He would rather
obey God than man. in making application we see that we too will be faced with the decision of either obeying God
or Man. Today all of us will face those same decisions of obeying God or man. How about you? What decision will you make?
Let us learn from our text today to see that in our world we will be faced with decisions as Ebed-melech to follow the World
or Follow the Lord so stand for the Lord in all you do and follow the Lord no matter how it affects our lives. Thank

chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 37. In our text today we see that King Zedekiah did
not want to listen to Jeremiah's Words but they wanted the blessing of His prayers. In making application we see that many
today have the same attitude of wanting to have the blessings of God without the relationship of God. Wanting to use God as
a drive thru window to order blessings without knowing Him. God wants a relationship with you. How about you? Do you treat
God as a drive thru window? Let us learn from our text today and the Words of Jeremiah to see that many of us treat the

The Everlasting Word of GodEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 36. In our text today we see Baruch pens and
reads Gods Message which had an impact on the people even though the King destroyed the writings in an attempt to
silence the Word of God. In making application we see today that people try to put God's Word aside, or say that it contains
errors and cannot be trusted, or attempt to change it, and even some try to add to it. The truth is that God preserves His
Word, He Protect His Word, and His Word will stand forever. How about you? Do you read, listen, and apply God's Word to your
heart and life? Let us learn from our text today that Lord gives us His Word, He Protects His Word, He Preserves His Word,
His Word will remain forever, and if we read and apply the Scriptures - then - they will they will change our lives. Thank
