Seeing the face of God
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 17. In our text today we see a theme of a plea for justice in the face of false accusations and persecution. David urges us to realize the true goal of life - to know God - and the true reward of life - to see God one Day. David wrote this Psalm when being persecuted by Saul so not only did he pen it - David lived it. In making application we see a goal for our lives. To one day see God through Salvation and to live now by knowing God. David realized that by walking with God he could know God. Today we can know God through, prayer, reading His Word, and being sensitive to the Holy Spirit that will guide you into all truth. How about you? Are you saved? If so, do you walk with God through prayer, His Word. and being sensitive to the indwelling Holy Spirt? Let us learn from our text today and the wisdom from David to know God so we will one day see the face of God.

Our Blessed Hope
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 16. In our text today we see a theme of the joys and benefits of a life lived in companionship with God. As Christians we enjoy these benefits now and eternally. In making application evidence of the truth now giving us a blessed hope of eternity. I think in our lives we get so concerned with the details of the present that we tend to forget our eternal destiny. It is those blessings God gives us now that should have us realize our future. How about you? Do you get bogged down in the troubles of today to forget our eternal future? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today as David reminds us to stay encouraged because that the Lord is our Blessed Hope and the Lord is our portion of our inheritance.

Blameless
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 15. In our text today we see a theme of Guidelines for living a blameless life. Church attendance, honest speech, treating you neighbor as yourself, and financial stewardship are all key components in living a Godly Christian life. In making application the same holds true today as just as David penned in this Psalm. We are to live blameless lives and the light the light of Jesus shine through our day to day activities of our lives. How about you? Do you live a blameless life before others? Our salvation is not determined on how we live but a Saved Soul should allow the Lord to live through him producing a blameless life.

Foolish
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 12. In our text today we see a theme of how only a fool denies God. A true fool believes his own misguided thoughts as he denies the obvious evidence of the truth. In making application we see that today many are acting the fool. Some deny God when the evidence is overwhelming that evolution has no merit while others deny Christ when they been faced with the convicting power of the Holy Spirt. Even Christians act foolish thinking that what they do will have no consequences. We truly live in a foolish time where no one fears God when they have seen Him work in throughout history. How about you? Do you tend to be foolish when it comes to evidence of who God is in your life? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to be reminded to not be foolish when it comes to obeying the Word of God.

Our Faith
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 13. In our text today we see a theme of having faith in God even when we don't see Him at work in our lives as David starts the Psalm asking where is the Lord to end in the realization that the Lord is his song. In making application we see that we wont always see the Lord working but can rest that He is in control and He is working even when wont done see Him. This truth is the bases of faith a belief in a truth that we don't see. In our Christian life we will be faced with this principle from salvation to we go home to glory and the Lord said that without faith it is impossible to belive in Him for He is truth. How about you? Do you have faith in God even when you don't see him? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that our faith is in Christ even we we don't see him.

Our Instruction
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 12. In our text today we see a theme of the proud and lying words of men versus the true and pure words of God. In making application we see a call for protection against those who try to manipulate us. In today's world lying is common place. It seems almost everyone is trying to manipulate others by any means necessary. For the Christian we must cling to Word's of our Lord through the pages of the Bible to gain direction and strength. His Words are pure and are not tainted like the words of others and the world. In a world where we need direction and everyone is giving us their manipulative advice we can rest and trust the instruction from the Bible. How about you? Are you confused from all the false instruction of the World? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that in a world with so much false instruction that we have our true instruction from God that comes from the Pages of the Bible.

Our Confidence
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 11. In our text today we see a theme of God's rule provides stability in the midst of panic. In making application we see that because we trust him, we can face our problems. Understanding that God is in control we can have confidence to face life's Challenges. Like the hymn says, "Because He lives - I can face tomorrow...for I know He holds the future...because He lives I can face today" How about you? Do you see that the Lord is in control even when we are not? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to understand that God is in control and that we can face life's Challenges because He is Our Confidence.

Our Justice
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 10. In our text today we see a theme of why do the wicked succeed? Although God may seem to be hidden at times we can be assured that he is aware of every injustice. In making application we see that Jesus is our Justice. We need not seek vengeance on all who harm us but can rest in know that God Knows all and God brings justice to all. As maturing believers we will gain the heart of God to desire that all come to repentance and escape the judgement of God. How about you? Do you see vengeance on those who harm you? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that no one escapes the justice of our Lord.

Our Help
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 9. In our text today we see a theme of how God never ignores our cries for help. The truth is we serve God that hears all and knows all. In making application we see that our Lord never lets us down. Today we see that others will let us down and not be there when we need them but our Lord is always there to hear us. He hears and responds according to his plan for our lives. Sometimes we doubt the Lord for we call and he does not answer the way we want but rest assured he hears you and loves you. How about you? Do you believe that God hears you? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today that the Lord hears our prayers, loves us, and responds according to His Will for our lives.

Our Worth
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 8. In our text today we see a theme of God, the all powerful creator, cares for His most valuable creation - people. This truth should allow us to realize our worth in the eyes of God. In making application we see how much God loves you.
You are not only His most valuable creation but he showed us how much He loves us when Jesus-Christ laid down his life on the Cross for our sins. This sacrifice allows us to spend eternity with a Holy God. How about you? Do you know that God Loves You? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to see that we have personal worth and our personal worth is measured by - God our Creator and our Lord and Savior - Jesus-Christ.

Our Reputation
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 7. In our text today we see a theme of our desire to have justice of those who slander us with their words. In our Christian life we will have those who spread false accusations against us in an attempt to harm us. David was accused of doing the same toward Saul but learned that our Lord was his Reputation. He is judge and He will give us justice. Today we don't have to run around trying to defend ourselves but apply this same principle of letting the Lord Jesus being Our Reputation. How about you? Do you have others slandering you? Let us learn from our text today to remember that we don't have to seek our own justice but just stand behind our Lord, letting Him deliver His justice, and stand on the truth that Jesus is our reputation.

Our Deliverer
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalms with Chapter 6. In our text today we see a theme of how God delivers us when we are in trouble and how He is able to rescue us. Our best preparation against our enemies is to be saturated in the Word of God. Daily Bible Study, our Prayers, our Worship, and our confidence in His Indwelling Holy Spirit allow us to stand and be delivered in our time of need. David speaks of his humanity in this Psalm and His dependance in Him. How about you? Do you realize the Lord is our Deliverer? If so do you seek Him in your relationship with Him? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to realize that our Lord is our deliverer and we need to cling to Him through our relationship with our Lord Jesus-Christ.

Our Defense
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalms with Chapter 5. In our text today we see a theme of how God defends us from lies, spoken against us, from our enemies. In verse 10 David was in trouble because his enemies were lying about him. David Prayed, and the Lord Consoled, Defended, and Shielded him. In making application - today - we have others lie about us and we should follow in his footsteps. We need to Pray and allow the Lord to Console, Defend, and Shield us from our enemies. Our flesh wants to strike back but the Lord is our Reputation and when the enemies lie about us we can rest in the Lord and let Him fight our battles. How about you? How do you respond to others who lie about you? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to be reminded to respond to those who lie about us with Prayer, allowing the Lord to be our Consolation, Defender, and Shield.

A Confident Faith
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalms with Chapter 4. In our text today we see a theme of Rejoicing in God's protection and peace and how we can not only trust Him but can place our confidence and faith in Him. It reminds of an old story of how a man walked across Niagara Falls on a tightrope with a wheelbarrow. When he asked the crowd if they trusted him to walk back across they all cheered. When he asked for a volunteer to ride in the wheelbarrow no one did. No one placed their confidence in Him - yet in our text today David did just that, David rejoiced and placed his confidence in the Lord. How about you? Do you trust Him with your life? If so, do you Have confidence in Him or a true faith? Let us learn from our text today and this Psalm today to remember that we can trust Him and go beyond that trust with a confidence or true faith in the Lord.

Peace on Earth
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalms with Chapter 3. In our text today we see a theme of confidently trusting God for protection and peace. David lived this experience as he wrote this Psalm when he fled from Absalom his son. In making application we are reminded that the Lord protects us according to His Will. This truth should allow us to experience the Peace of God. Knowing the Lord through Salvation places us in His Hand and in His Hand we have Peace on Earth no matter what our surroundings. How about You? Are you in His Hand? Are you Experiencing His Peace? Let learn from our Psalm today to remember that our Protection comes from the Lord and His Protection gives us Peace on Earth.

One Nation Under God
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we start the Book of Psalms with Chapter 2. In our text today we see a theme of God's Ultimate rule. What catches my eye is verse 4 where God laughs at those who belive they have power over Him. In making application we see that today nations believe this same princaple that they are over God. Even the U.S. has moved toward this direction and away from its pledge of being one nation under GOd. How about you? Do you see the pride that is exampled in our text and how it paralles our Nation? Let us learn from our text today the Psalmist who reminds us to avoid pride as a nation and return to a time where we areone nation under God.

Being Blessed
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we start the Book of Psalms with Chapter 1. In our text today we see path for a blessed man. Sin has a deceptive plan of walking, standing, and sitting while the blessed man has been planted by Christ by the river and delights himself in the Word of God that produces fruit in the life of the believer. In making application we see importance to resist the World and its influence by focusing ourselves on the Bible. How about you? Do you resist the world and focus on the Word of God? Let us learn from our text today and this Psalm to resist the World and focus on the Word of God to be a blessed man.

Trials in our Life
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we conclude the Book of Job with Chapter 42. In our text today we see Job is restored by God after Job's humble reply to the Lord. God confirms that Job's friends were wrong and gave him much more than He had before his trial. In making application we see how to handle the trails in our life. We are to be humble, we are to be repentave, we are to be faithful trusting God. We will face things we don't understand, we will not have all the answers, and we will have others who are not supportive. In the end we will be restored and the Lord will use the trial to conform us to the likeness of Jesus-Christ. How about you? Do you understand how to handle the trials in your life? Let us learn from our text today and the book of Job to remember how to respond to the trials in our life.

The Patience of Job
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 41. In our text today we see God continuing to speak before Job is restored. In this conversation we see the same type of dialog but what catches my eye is the patience of Job. How he waited on the Lord in such difficult times. In making
application we will see that we too will face difficulties and although they wont be to the same magnitude of Job he has showed us how to respond and have his patience. How about you? Do you respond correctly to the trials in your life? Let us learn from our text today and the Job's life to remember to have the Patience of Job.

Questioning God?

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 40. In our text today we see the Lord continuing to speak to Job and when Job had a chance to speak he did not complain or question God. In making application we see the correct way to pray and talk to God. Who are we to question God when we face trials and hardships. Yes we do complain to others from time to time expressing our dislike to the trial but we should never question God to His Face. God loves us and will reveal His plan to us as we are on His timetable and He is not on ours. We can ask God Why but should refrain from disrespectful questioning of His Authority. How about you? Do you question God? Let us learn from our text today and the life and example of Job who suffered more than we will ever suffer but did not disrespectfully question God for he understood that God loved him and He was the Lord of his life.

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 39. In our text today we see God asking Job questions about the animal kingdom with His purpose to have Job submit to God's Sovereignty so hear could hear from Him. Yesterday we see we need to be humble and now to be submissive to hear from a Holy God. In making application we see that we can approach our Lord boldly but need to be humble with submissive spirit. When we do we can hear from the Lord. How about you? Are your prayers being answered? Humble to Hear
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 38. In our text today we see God Answering Job. To Job's surprise we see his questions not being answered directly and He realizes that God's ways are best. In making application we see that God does answer our prayers but sometimes not in the way we expect. We have learned that his ways are not our ways and that He is in control. We must humble ourselves before him and not demand answers. Our Lord is not hear for us like a crystal ball to answer questions for us but rather is the Lord of the Universe here to worship and adore. Once we humble ourselves before him then will He communicate with us. How about you? Are you humble as you approach the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the life of Job to remember that we must humble ourselves before the Lord as we seek to hear from Him.

Have Faith
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 37. In our text today we see Elihu concluding his speech to Job making a relivant point for today. At the end of the chapter he said that Job's faith in God is far mor emportant than Job's desire for an explaination of his suffering. In making application we find this truth important for our lives. Our faith is far more important than asking God why? God loves us, God is in control, God is conforming us to the likeness of the Son, You can trust God. Someday you will find out why? You might have to wait until you go to heaven but if you have trusted God with your soul through salvation - then you can trust Him with your life. Just have faith, obey Him, serve Him, worship Him, and love Him because He first loved you and gave His Son that you may spend eternity with Him. How about you? Do you have faith in the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the life of Job to remeber that our faith in Him is more important than understanding what God is doing, you can trust Him.

Trust and Obey
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 36. In our text today we see Elihu continuing to speak to Job and he brings up a relevant point for today in verse 26 of how we can know God but cannot truly predict what he is going to do in our lives. In making application, today, we have the Word of God and we can know who God is, and the principles of which He works. We don't know what he will do in the future. We are not promised tomorrow, nor do we know what a day will hold, we can only trust and obey Him. The Lord does have a plan for your life, He calls us into service, and will reveal His plan as time goes by but we must not speculate or delay in what he tells us to do. How about you? Do you follow the Lord's instruction? OR do you obey only on what you speculate He is doing in your life? Let us learn from our text today and Elihu who reminds us that the Lords ways are not our ways, we don't know what the future holds so we are to simply trust and obey the Lord.

In our text today we see Elihu continuing to address Job bringing up the point of God being a God of justice even though He does not intervene in our situations when we belive He should. IN making application we see that Just God is a God of Justice. He works on His timetable with His divine plan in mind. To us it doesn't seem fair but don't be mistaken the wicked will be judged but God's plan is that every sinner come to repentance and salvation. How about you? Do you wonder if God is a God of Justice? Let us learn from our text today and words of Elihu to remember that our Just God is a God of Justice.

The Lord is Just
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 34. In our text today we see Elihu reply to Job's speech and we see him bring up a great point. The Lord is "Just" meaning that He is morally right all the time. He is the standard and His Word is truth. In making application we see that many today ignore this fact. They take His Word out of the context it was written to fit into their agenda. These deceived people belive that Sin is no longer Sin - it is an alternative choice. Sinners are not Sinners - they are people of alternative lifestyles. They belive Hell is not real, repentance is not needed, and salvation is for the weak...Well the Bible is Clear on all these facts, Sin is Sin, Unforgiven Sinners go to Hell, Repentance is essential for Salvation, and Jesus is the only way to Heaven. How about you? Do you believe the Bible in the context it is written? Let us learn from our text today and life of Job to remember that our Lord is Just and His Word is Truth.

Simply Trust Him
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Job with Chapter 33. In our text today we see Elihu continuing to give his advice to Job. In the conversation we see Job wanting to know what was going on. What was happening to Him. In making application we see common question in our lives. "God what are you doing in my life?" We want to know because it brings us a since of security and a feeling of control. The truth is we simply need to trust the Lord in what He is doing. His ways are not our ways and He will reveal what you need when you need to know. For some of us this is hard to comprehend. We want to be in control but the Lord want us to have a childlike faith in Him. How about you? Do you have this total dependence in the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Job to remember that even when we don't understand what God is doing in our lives we are to simply trust Him.

Our vision and mission is to distribute His Word in these last of the last days. Our Mission is to reach the 1/2 of the World who has never seen a Bible and the 75% of the World who does not own a Bible. Our Method is to simply depend on the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance as we inform the Body of Christ of the World Wide Bible Shortage. As the Holy Spirit burdens believers we will print, purchase, and recycle older Bibles, then network with Ministries and Missionaries to place Bibles in the hands of needy souls.  A special thanks to our Friends at the Spread the Word Bible College & Seminary for the Honorary Doctors of Divinity Degree. It a great honor to be associated with your University. Please contact me with any need, question, or concerns. My Personal email is info@bibles4free.com
