Our Hope
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 43. In our text today we see a theme of how our hope in a time of discouragement only comes from God. The God who made it all, and owns it all, and has control of it all can deliver you from your troubles. In making application we see that many place their hope in many things: their money, their abilities, their health, their strength, their influence, their power, the list goes on and on but these things come and go. The only one we can truly place our trust in is the Lord because he owns it all. How about you? What are you placing your trust in? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that we are to place our hope in the Lord for He is in control of it all.

A Thirst for God
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 42. In our text today we see a theme of a thirst for God as penned by the sons of Korah, who were temple assistants. These men had a thirst for God due to their time spent with God in His House. In making application we see the key to having a thirst for God is spending time with God in His House, the Church. Today many don't see the importance of Church attendance and the wonder why their relationship with God is cold and distant. The sons of Korah show us the key to being close to God is spending time with God in His House. How about you? Do you feel distant from God? Are you spending time in His House? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that a key for a thirst for God can be found by spending time worshiping Him in His House, the Church.

A Helping Hand
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 41. In our text today we see a theme of God's mercy when feeling sick or abandoned and how God does not leave us but rather stay by our side. In making application we see that the Lord will never leave us and how the Lord blesses those who bless others, especially the poor and needy. Today we see many in need and the Lord would have us to see them as he does. To have compassion on them. Not so much a hand out but a helping hand to get back on their feet and getting involved in their lives. I love the saying of give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime. How about you? How do you see the poor and needy? Do you help them? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that the Lord gives mercy to needy and we are to reach out and give them a helping hand as this is the heart of God.

Waiting on the Lord
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 40. In our text today we see a theme of waiting on the Lord can be His will for your life. As we wait are to love the Lord, continuing to serve Him we are to serve others, and tell them about Him. In making application we see that God's Will for our lives can involve simply waiting. We believe the we are to go, go, go but sometimes the Lord says wait. We will have seasons of waiting and many times the Lord wants us to learn something so we will be ready to do the next task He has for us. How about You? Are you in a season of waiting on the Lord to move in your life? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to be reminded to be obedient, even if that obedience means to simply wait.

Investing our Lives
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 39. In our text today we see a theme of how life is fleeting and empty apart from God. What catches my eye is how David realized how life is brief. The Bible goes on to explaining how life is a vapor - here today and gone tomorrow. In making application many of us believe that we will live forever and death will never come to our lives but as we get older we see that life is so short. Many of us spend our lives instead of investing our lives in others. A life invested in Christ is not only fulfilling but also rewarding as the Lord will bless your faithfulness in the afterlife. How about you? Are you investing your life in others or are you spending your life on yourself? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that our days are numbered so let us be wise to choose the fulfilling path of life as we invest our lives in others.

Salvation in Christ Alone
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 38. In our text today we see a theme of true sorrow for sin brings hope. We see that God alone is the true source for our healing, forgiveness, and protection for those who confess and repent of their sins. In making application we see that our good works or good intentions are not good enough to forgive our sins. It is the blood of Christ and our confession and repentance in the finished work on Calvary that gains us a home in Heaven when we die. How about you? Have you repented of your sin and attained Salvation? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that we cannot work for our Salvation but it only come through confession and repentance in the finished work at Calvary.

God's Timetable
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 37. In our text today we see a theme of how we need to trust the Lord and wait patiently for Him to act. We see that we are on the Lord's timetable instead of our own. It seems to us as the wicked prosper but all will come to meet their maker. In making application we see that we need to trust the Lord in all we do. Don't mistake the grace of God that is extended to sinners as lawlessness or liberty in sin. Salvation is available to all sinners but make no mistake that time of grace will end and after death comes the judgement. How about you? Have you repented in your time of grace? If saved, do you trust the Lord in a land where the wicked prosper? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that we are on God's timetable as He extends grace to sinners, so we must trust and serve the Lord even when it seems that the wicked are prospering because we all will face our maker and give an account for our lives.

A Gift of Love

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 36. In our text today we see a theme of God's faithfulness, love, and justice are extended to sinners. In making application we see that no matter what we have done - God still loves us. His love is not conditional on me or my sin but rather forgiveness is extended to us. Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners. His forgiveness is extended to you if - by repentance and faith - you would receive this great gift. The gift of true love. It is not conditional by what my past is or what horrible sins I may have committed. It is simply a gift of love that you can freely receive. How about you? Do you understand that God loves you? Just as you are? Have you received this free Gift of Love? Let us learn from out Psalm and text today to remember that God Loves you just as you are and has extended to you this awesome gift of Love.

The Lord will Protect Us
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 35. In our text today we see a theme of a prayer to God for help against those who try to inflict injury for no reason. David pens this Psalm as Saul hunted him recording how he responded and prayed. In making application we see that when our enemies are unjust and seek to hurt us that we can appeal to God who is always just. With the Lord leaving us this Psalm it tells us that, we too, will face opposition from time to time. Just as David experienced - we can rest in the Lord as He will fight our battles for us and protect us according to His Will for our lives. How about you? Are you facing others who persecute you? Let us learn from our Psalm an text today to remember that the Lord is Just and will protect us from our enemies according to His Will for our lives.

We don't have to figure every thing out but simply trust and obey for He is in control. How about you? Do you understand that God knows and listens to our Prayers? No Need to Worry
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 31. In our text today we see a theme of our need to depend upon God in times of stress with our complete commitment that God will meet our needs. Again Faith is a key component for our peace of mind. In making application we see that the Lord is in control no matter what we belive but our stress, joy, and peace are dependent on our faith in what God is doing in our lives. Many times we worry about what we will eat or how will we pay for our needs when the Lord has His plan in motion to accomplish these things. Our lack of faith that He will meet our needs causes stress that He never intended us experience. How about you? Do you worry about things that He will provide for you? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember to trust the Lord and His Promises as obedient Children of God we need not worry but simply have faith for Him to meet our needs.

Joy Cometh in the Morning
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 30. In our text today we see a theme of a celebration of God's deliverance. Earthly security is uncertain, but God is always faithful. I love verse 5 that how Joy cometh in the morning. In making application we see that the Lord is in control when our world is turned upside down. It is the Lord that brings ultimate "joy" in our lives no matter what we may face. How about you? Do you see how the Lord is in control and we simply need to trust Him? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that the Lord is in control so when we face weeping that endureth for a night, it is joy that cometh in the morning.

Power in the Word of God
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 29. In our text today we see a theme of how God reveals his great power in nature as David proclaims the power in the Words of God. In making application we see how we can trust God to give us both peace and strength to weather the storms in life. It is still His Words of the Bible that give us Power in our lives. Power to Save, Provide, Rebuke, Forgive, and Comfort. Words that have power over all - all nature, persons, and principalities that would choose to stand against Him. Those that would attempt to hinder us to do the Lord's Will. Even when the Pharisees and Soldiers came to get Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane it was His spoken word knocked them to the ground. The same words of the Father spoke this world into existence. These same Words are within you grasp in our Bible. How about you? Do you still believe in the power of the Word of God? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that there is Power in God's Word - and that Power is available to work in our lives today as we do His Will.

The Priority of Prayer
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 28. In our text today we see a theme of Prayer when surrounded by trouble or wickedness. God is our only real source of safety. Prayer is our key to a communing connection with the God who loves us and knows our heart and motives. In making application we see that Prayer is a Priority in our lives. Yes, God knows us and our desires but it Prayer that allows us to communicate with a Holy God - having a conversation that allows us to gain instruction and guidance. Today, more than ever, we are surrounded by wickedness and the trouble that is associated with it. We need to pray and listen to be guided through this world. How about you? Do you pray? Do you pray without ceasing to gain instruction from the Lord? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that prayer is key to our communion relationship with God that allows us to navigate through this world in which we live.

Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 27. In our text today we see a theme of how God offers help for today and the future. Here David proclaims the Lords truth that causes hem to realize that he has nothing to fear. In making application of our text we see that our unwavering confidence in God is our antidote for fear and loneliness. We too need to be realizing and proclaiming God's truths from the Lord. This act of obedience will help us stand on the truth that will have us proclaim: whom shall I fear? How about you? Are you fearful in this world in which we live? Facing Adversity
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 26. In our text today we see a theme of declaring our loyalty to God by committing our lives to Him. Our loyalty can be measured by how we stand to examination and opposition. In making application we see that it is easy to follow the Lord when everything is going our way but a true test of our faith is when we face adversity. In these adverse times we find out who we are in Christ. Do we run to God or run away from God? How about you? How do respond to adverse times? Faith's Benefits
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 25. In our text today we see a theme of a prayer for defense, guidance, and pardon. David discovers that as we trust in God, He grants these same requests for us. In making application we see that our faith in the Lord produces benefits in our lives of defense, guidance, and pardon also. Our faith is not to attempt to manipulate the Lord but should be a heartfelt expression of our love for Him. In return the Lord shows these benefits in our lives. How about you? Do you see the benefits of having faith in the Lord. Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that the Lord returns our love and faith by adding benefits that will help us in life.

Free to Worship
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 24. In our text today we see a theme that everything belongs to God - the glorious eternal King. David expresses praise and worship to the Lord with the keys to meaningful worship is having clean hands and a pure heart. In making application we see that to truly worship - we need come to the Lord with a repentant heart that is willing to confess our sins. Once we have been cleansed we have the ability to be free to worship. It is important to remember that once we have been saved we are cleansed from the penalty of sin but if we choose to allow sin back in our life it will hinder our relationship and worship making us feel miles away from the Lord. How about you? How is your worship and relationship with the Lord? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember the importance of having clean hands and a pure heart before the Lord by confessing and repenting of our sins so we can be free to worship.

He will never leave us
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 22. In our text today we see a theme of a prayer that carries us from great suffering to great joy in the midst of rejection by David's friends, his circumstances, and no voice to him from the Lord. Still David had faith believing and praying that God would lead him out of despair as he looked forward to that future day when God would rule over the entire earth. In making application we see that our Lord who never changes, responds to our prayers according to His Will. Even as David experienced rejection and dry spiritual times - the Lord was still there, still protecting, providing, and walking with David - we too - Have the same Lord protecting, providing, and walking with us even when it seems that others have abandon us and our spiritual life feels dry. According to the Word of the Lord He will never leave us or forsake us just as David penned for us today. How about you? Do you feel at times that the Lord has left you due to circumstances in you life? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today from the testimony of David that, as a saved child of God,the Lord will never leave us or forsake us as it is not based on my feelings, friends, or circumstances, but rather the Word of our Living God.

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 21. In our text today we see a theme of Praising God after he gives us the victory. An open spoken Testimony of what God did and how he gave us the victory. In making application we see the need to praise the Lord. Praise Him with spoken words of the testimony of how God is working in our lives giving us the strength for victory as he holds our enemies. When we praise the Lord we humble ourselves and lift Him up. When He is lifted up it draws men to Him. How about you? Do you praise the Lord when he gives you victory? Victory in Jesus
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 20. In our text today we see a theme of praying for victory in battle. Such prayer allows us to focus on who is in control and who gives us strength for victory. In making application we see that we are to depend on God as we give 100% depending on His Strength in Victory. If we depend on our strength we will fall short. It is our faith in His strength in us that gives us victory. How about you? Do you depend on the Lord for strength when faced with the battles in life? Let us learn for our Psalm and text today to learn that our victory comes from the Lord, as He gives us strength, when we depend on Him to face the battles in our lives.

Our Conversation
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 19. In our text today we see a theme of both God's creation and His Word reveal His greatness as David looks at the world we live testifying of His greatness. In making application we too can look at the world we live in to acknowledge and testify of His greatness. What catches my eye is a favorite verse of mine which - after seeing His Greatness - should motivate us to form our words in a way pleasing to Him. Our Conversation should reflect words worthy of a Great God. How about you? Are your words acceptable in the sight of God? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to be reminded that our Speech should be acceptable in the sight of a Great God.

Defeating our Enemies
Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Psalm with Chapter 18. In our text today we see a theme of Gratitude for deliverance and victory. We see David stating that the only sure way to be delivered from surrounding evil is to call upon God for help and strength. In making application we see that the Lord is our rock in an ever-changing evil world. The enemy is more powerful than us in our flesh but no match for the Christ in us. Knowing this truth we can walk in the face of the wicked knowing the Lord is everything stated in todays Psalm. How about you? Do you allow the Lord fight the enemy in your Life? Let us learn from our Psalm and text today to remember that the Lord is our Rock, An ever-present help in time of need willing and able to defeat our enemies.

Our vision and mission is to distribute His Word in these last of the last days. Our Mission is to reach the 1/2 of the World who has never seen a Bible and the 75% of the World who does not own a Bible. Our Method is to simply depend on the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance as we inform the Body of Christ of the World Wide Bible Shortage. As the Holy Spirit burdens believers we will print, purchase, and recycle older Bibles, then network with Ministries and Missionaries to place Bibles in the hands of needy souls.  A special thanks to our Friends at the Spread the Word Bible College & Seminary for the Honorary Doctors of Divinity Degree. It a great honor to be associated with your University. Please contact me with any need, question, or concerns. My Personal email is info@bibles4free.com
