God Must Judge SinEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 24. In our text today we see the beginning of God's judgment in the land. Not only did the people
suffer for their sins we see the land suffering as well. In making application we see that God hates sins because the result
of sin is separation, heartache, and death. God must judge sin because sin hurts others. How about you? Do you see that God
Judges sin? Let us learn from our text today and the warning of Isaiah to share the Word of God with others, so they will
repent, and miss the judgment of our Lord. Thank You, David Burnette,

The Lord Hates PrideEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 23. In our text today we see the final prophecies of Isaiah with the prophecy of Tyre. God
destroyed Tyre because of its people's pride. God hates pride because it separates us from a Holy God. Today we see society
embracing pride. From sports, to business, to our social lives, we see pride is celebrated in the world but God
Hates a Proud Look. How about you? Are you a Proud Person? Let us learn from our text today and the Prophesy of Tyre to remember
the our Lord hates pride because it is form of self worship and separates us from the Lord. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

A Call to RepentanceEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 22. In our text today we see prophecy about Jerusalem as they are warned to repent and
depend on the Lord but instead choose to depend on themselves and their abilities ignoring the Lord as their enemies rise
against them. In making application we see ourselves, out families, and our nation making the same mistakes. We believe that
our knowledge, finances, and pride can overcome the challenges and enemies in our lives but the truth is only the Lord
can deliver us from those who challenge us and take us captive. We too must repent as a people and a nation to see victory
in our lives. How about you? Do you see the need to repent to attain victory? Let us learn from our text today and the warning
from Isaiah for the need to repent, depend on the Lord, for it is in Him and Him alone will we find victory against
the challenges and enemies in our lives. Thank You, David Burnette,

A WatchmanEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 21. In our text today we see more prophesy fulfilled at the fall of Babylon, Edom, and Arabia.
In this prophesy we are introduced to the watchman that are first to see trouble coming to warn others just as Habakkuk who
proclaimed the truth of the Word of God. In making application we see how the Word of God, the Bible, is a modern day watchman
as it proclaims that judgment is coming but how much Jesus loves us giving us the free pardon of sin that He provided
at the Cross of Calvary. How about you? Do you see the Bible as a Watchman? Let us learn from our text today and this
book of Isaiah to see the prophecy contained within its pages for both Babylon and our modern day situation here
in the world which we live. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 20. In our text today we see prophecy against Egypt and Ethiopia. In this message Isaiah was to deliver a
message to these nations that was uncomfortable to him. In making application we see the Lord at times will ask us to deliver
messages to others that might make us uncomfortable. Sometimes telling others about their sin or delivering the Gospel will
make us uncomfortable but we are to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit for the ultimate good of others. How about you?
Do you see that we are to obey the Lord even when it is not comfortable? Let us learn from our text today and the example
of Isaiah to remember to follow the Lord even when it is not comfortable. Thank You, David

Avoiding Evil AlliancesEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 18. In our text today we see Prophecy against Ethiopia as their fall is for-told by Isaiah because
of its association with Assyria who was against the Lord. In making application we see the warning in making alliances with
those who oppose the Lord. When we associate with evil we will reap the judgment that comes their
way. How about you? Do you see how we can face the judgment of the Lord when we make alliance with those who
oppose the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the Prophecy that we will face the judgment of the Lord when we make

of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 17. In our text today we see the Prophesy against Syria as they turned from the one true God who
could save them, depending instead on their own idols and their own strength. In making application we see that many
today are depending on their strength instead of the one true God that can save them. How about you? are you depending on
the Lord verses your own strength to save you? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Syria to remember
that we can only depend on the Lord for victory. Thank You, David Burnette,

see the Biblical truth that pride cometh before a fall because pride is a form of self-worship as we lift
ourselves up above others and the Lord. How about you? Do you wrestle with Pride? Let us learn from our text today and the
example of Moab to remember that pride is a sin and that pride cometh before a fall. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

of Isaiah with Chapter 15. In our text today we see Prophecy against Moab for its sinful ways and opposition against
Israel. In making application we see how Israel is God's chosen nation and those who oppose it will see the judgment
of the Lord. Today our nation and others are debating on standing with Israel on political issues but the Lord is
clear on those who stand with Israel and those who oppose them. How about you? Do you support Israel? Let us learn from our

by the people of God we see God keeping His promises to us. Yes, God does judge sin but our God keeps His promises
to us. Today we have many promises in the Bible that the Lord will fulfill. We can rest knowing that He will be
faithful in bringing us the promises contained in the Bible. How about you? Do you understand that the Lord is faithful.

Repent before Judgment ComesEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 13. In our text today we see judgment against heathen nations including the Prophecy against Babylon.
This nation rose to power but was taken down by the Lord as judgment for its evil. In making application we see how we
need not get upset when we see the wicked prosper for in due season they will see the judgment of God. It is the
Lord's will that all would come repentance but the truth is there is a time for all to face judgment. Will you be ready?
Let us learn from our text today and the testimony of Babylon to see that God will judge evil in due season so let us reach
out to those who go astray encouraging them to repent before it is eternally to late. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 11. In our text today we see more prophesy as Judah was cut down to a stump but from that stump a new branch
would grow, the Messiah, Jesus-Christ. In making application we see that God makes a way where their seems to be
no way. God is in control and if it is His Will then He can, (and will) make a way. How about you? Are you
facing tough circumstances? Let us learn from our text today as we see our Lord fulfill prophecy, making a
way for His Will be done, and knowing this we understand that God can, and will, make away for His Will to be done on
Earth just as it is in Heaven. Thank You, David Burnette,

OppressionEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 10. In our text today we see how God will punish Assyria as He judges those who make
unfair laws to oppress others. In this judgment - God oppresses the oppressors. In making application we see how
those who are in authority and have rule over others are accountable to God for how they treat them. Today many in authority,
power, and politics believe they are above God but our Lord is just and will judge leaders who oppress others. How
about you? Are you a person who is in authority? Let us learn from our text today and the warning of Isaiah to treat
others as themselves being fair to those we lead because the Lord oppresses those who oppress others. Thank

we see the difference between the Bible and other religious writings or teachings, fulfilled Prophecy. This event with the
many others proves the Bible is the Word of God. How about you? Do you see the Bible as the true Word of God? Let us

Seeing the SignsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 8. In our text today we see Isaiah predict the invasion by Assyria and warn the people by
putting his message on a large sign in a public place with writing that all could read as God was warning all his people.
In making application we see the same warning today as our country is at risk for God's judgment as our nation embraces
sin. The same warning is posted on a large sign which we call the Bible and its message is "repent" before
we see the same fate as Israel. How about you? Do you see the sign which reads "repent"? Let us learn from our text
today and the warning of Isaiah and the Bible to "repent" as a nation lest we too fall to the enemies of God due
to a lack of seeing the signs of our Lord which are printed in the Bible. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 7. In our text today we see Immanuel or God who is with us as Ahaz was about to be attacked
by Assyria but did not prevail because the people were trying to follow God even though Ahaz was a poor leader. In making

Lord. How about you, Are you discouraged by the world we live in and the direction we are going? Let us learn from our

A Holy God Must Judge Sin Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 3. In our text today we see of how Isaiah warns of the upcoming judgment on Judah as a result
of their sin. What catches my eye is verse 5-9 where the people no longer see their sinfulness. In making application
we see that our world is a parity of this time. Society has excepted sin and feels like there is no consequences
for their actions. Lying, cheating, stealing, fornication, homosexuality, abortions, etc. are excepted in our society as normal
behavior. The truth is a Holy God must judge sin so when society embraces sin - judgment will follow. How
about you? Do you see how a Holy God must judge sin? Let us learn from our text today and the warning of Isaiah
that a Holy God must judge sin so as a society we must embrace the Bible as truth and yield to its teachings of what is right
and wrong. Thank

Walk in the LightEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we start the Book
of Isaiah 2. In our text today we see that God has given Isaiah the gift of seeing into the future and what would eventually
happen to Jerusalem (Revelation 21). In this Isaiah instructs us to walk in the light. In making application we see that New
Jerusalem is closer than ever as we are living in the last days before the rapture and judgment of the Lord. Knowing this
we should be encouraged to "walk in the light" being a witness and testimony to those who are lost so they can repent
and be saved. How about you? Do you see the urgency of the day? Let us learn from our text today to remember that judgment
is coming and more the ever we need to Walk in the Light as we reflect the light of our Lord and Savior Jesus-Christ to this

A Warning of JudgementEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we start the Book
of Isaiah 1. In our text today we see Words of Judgement as Isaiah brings a message of divine judgement to both Israel
and Judah. In making application the same message is brought to us through the pages of the Bible. Sin is rampant in the world
today and people believe that the Lord will not judge them from their sin but Isaiah reminds us of Sodom and Gomorrah and
how our sins can be washed as white as snow if we simply repent. How about you? Do you see the coming judgement of our Lord
and the free pardon of sin He extends you today? Let us learn from our text today and the message of Isaiah to remember to
not mistake the grace of God with the upcoming judgement of God so we can repent and receive His forgiveness. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

a picture of our communion with Christ. In making application we see that no love is greater than the love our Lord exhibited
to us when He paid the price for our sin on the cross of Calvary. How about you? Do you see the love that our Lord extended
to us? Let us learn from our text today and see the Love of Christ for us that is pictured for us as He loves us, and proved
