ObedienceEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 50. In our text today we see that God's servants obey no matter how the circumstances appear because
they know of the faithfulness of our Lord. In making application we see the testimony of a true believer is obedience.
Being born again a believer will not be perfect but will have a heart of obedience. How about you? Is your heart obedient
to our Lord and His Word? Let us learn from our text today and the teachings of Isaiah that remind us that a true believer
will have a testimony of obedience to the Lord and His Word. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

Go ForthEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 49. In our text today we see the future Redeemer as God's Servant will be a light. What catches
my eye is verse 9 that says to Go Forth, to them that are in darkness. In making application we see a need
to Go Forth and tell others what the Lord has done for us so we may shed some light on a dark and lost world. How about
you? Do you see the need to Go Forth? Let us learn from our text today to see our Lord is a light and we are asked to
Go Forth and shine the light of Jesus in a world of darkness. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

No Peace for the WickedEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 48. In our text today we see there is no peace for the wicked as we see the Lord of Israel
is the Lord of all. Our God proves He is Lord through the Old Testament and gives us His plan of redemption so an unholy people
can spend eternity with a Holy God through the shed blood of Jesus-Christ. In making application we see that there is a Holy
God an although we live in an imperfect time there is no peace for the wicked. Those who do wrong will be judged in His timing.
How about you? Do you see that we serve a Holy God and he will judge sinners. Let us learn from our text today to see we serve
a Holy God, He gives us a way to be redeemed through Jesus-Christ, and there is no peace for he wicked. Thank You, David Burnette,

A Pattern of FailureEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 47. In our text today we see a prophecy of doom for Babylon as they were caught up in the
pursuit of power and pleasure. Babylon believed in its own greatness and it leader, Nebuchadnezzar, actually called himself
a god. In making application we see a lesson in a people who are self dependent and make themselves their own gods. Today
we are more sophisticated in our thinking but we still make ourselves gods by lifting ourselves up and replacing the Lord
with ourselves. This self worship will follow the path of Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon in failure. How about you? Do you see
this pattern of failure that follows this self-worship? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Babylon to remember
that self-worship and self dependence will follow into a pattern of failure. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

Useless IdolsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 46. In our text today we see the false gods of Babylon as the Babylonians had to carry their
god where ever they went. In making application we see that false gods are just that, "false". As Isaiah proclaims
that our God is the only "true" god. Instead of us carrying our God around we see that our God carries His
Children. How about you? Do you see how "false" and useless idols are? Let us learn from our text today
and prophesy of Isaiah to see the futility of "false" idols and how much God loves you and that He
is the only "true" God. Thank

The Only One True God Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 45. In our text today we see that Jehovah is the one true God. Yesterday we looked at many make idols
or little gods while some believe there is a god but don't believe in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In making application
we see there is one God above all gods. Today many worship and claim allegiance to their god but according to Bible there
is only One God. The God of the Bible and according to the Bible the only way to God the Father is through God the Son - Jesus-Christ.
How about you? Do you believe in the God of the Bible? Let us learn from our text today and prophesy of Isaiah to remember
that according to the Bible there is only one God, the God of the Bible. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

False godsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 44. In our text today we see the idols are false gods and there is only one God. In
making application we see that today people are still making idols. In making application today we see some make idols
as in days past while others make things, possessions, sports, work, food, etc. as an idol in there life. They lift their
idol above the Lord and Isaiah reminds us that there is only one God and He is Lord. How about you? Do you
see the idols in your life? Let us learn from our text today and the and the reminder of our Lord that idols are
false gods and there is only one true God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the God of the Bible, the Great

Walking Through the ValleyEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 43. In our text today we see the is no other Savior and the promise of victory for God's people.
What catches my eye is that for those who are His Children He promises to be with us in the fire and waters of life. In making
application we can rest assured that if we are saved that our Lord will never leave us or forsake us. He will be with
us as we walk through the valleys of life and He will uphold us with His Mighty Right Hand. How about
you? Are you walking through a valley? Let us learn from our text today and the promises of the Bible to remember that our

Rightousness Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 42. In our text today we see a lesson in the righteousness of God. In His righteousness we see forgiveness
of sin and how He restores us and then empowers us to demonstrate it to others. In making application we see how after
we are saved we are called to be witnesses of His Righteousness. How about you? Have you experienced His righteousness? Let
us learn from our text today and this lesson in righteousness to see that we must be saved to receive His righteousness and
once we are saved we are to be witnesses to the righteousness in us, Christ-Jesus. Thank You, David Burnette,

God Keeps His PromisesEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 41. In our text today we see how God will help Israel because of a promise He made. God keeps
His promises even when we reject Him. In making application we see many promises in the Bible and we can be encouraged by
looking at this Example of Israel to stand firm on the promises of God that are given to us in the Bible. How about you? Do
you understand how God keeps His promises. Let us learn from our text today and words of Isaiah to remember that God keeps
His Promises. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

His Everlasting Word Each day we walk through the Bible
chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each
day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 40. In our text today we see Israel's
release from captivity as we see a promise that God will feed His Flock. In making application verse 8 Catches
my eye stating that simply says the Word of the Lord will stand forever. Today many still try to deny or eliminate the
Word from their lives but the truth is you will never be able to escape the God's Word. How about you? Do you see the
Word of God as an everlasting truth? Let us learn from our text today and the promise of God to Feed His People through
His Word which shall stand forever.

A Testimony of Victory Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 39. In our text today we see Hezekiah's life come to and end. His life was a testimony of a life that
is dedicated to God will make a difference as Judah turned from their idol worship due to His dedication to the Lord.
In making application we see that a life dedicated to God will make a difference to others we have contact with,
today there are many lives you touch and if you dedicate your life to the Lord you too will have a life of influence. How
about you? Will your life have the testimony of Hezekiah? Let us learn from our text today, the words of Isaiah, and
a realize that a life dedicated to the Lord will influence others and you too will have the testimony of Victory like that
of Hezekiah. Thank

Adding Years to Your Life Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 38. In our text today we see Hezekiah receives 15 extra years of life as a result of Isaiah's prayer.
In making application we see that the Lord does answer prayer and is concerned with your life. Today many
false profits stage healing services and claims of name it - claim it - and it is yours but the truth
is that the Lord does answer prayers that are according to His Will and the Lord does hear and respond to prayer.
How about you? Do you see that the Lord does answer prayer? Let us learn from our text today and the prayer of Isaiah
to remember that the Lord answers prayer according to His Will and can even add years to you life. Thank You, David Burnette,

of Isaiah with Chapter 37. In our text today we see how God will deliver Jerusalem as Hezekiah prayed and rent his
clothes for God to intervene with Judah. In making application we see that the Lord hears our prayers and intervenes
when earnestly pray for the will of God to be done. Today we have the completed Canon of Scriptures with the Word of
God, our Bible. We can pray with boldness and expectation of the Lord to intervene if we pray according to His Word and
His Will. How about you? Do you pray in accordance to the Word of God? Let us learn from our text today and the example
of Hezekiah to boldly approach the throne of grace and mercy have our prayers answered as we pray according to His Word and

Remove the Idols in your LifeEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 36. In our text today we see the events during the reign of Hezekiah as removes the
alters of idol worship placed in the hill calling on all to worship in Jerusalem alone. In making application
we see that we too have a tendency to allow idols in our lives that rob us from true worship in our Jerusalem, the house of
God. We too need to follow the example of Hezekiah and remove these alter that we can allow in our lives. How about you? Do
you allow other things to rob you of true worship? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Hezekiah to drive out
the idols in our lives and worship the one true God which needs to be on the thrown of our hearts. Thank You, David Burnette,

of Isaiah with Chapter 35. In our text today we see Streams in the Desert as the Lord provides a way where there seems
to be no way. In making application we see that our Lord cares, provides our needs, and makes a way where there seems
to be no way. How about you? Do you see the power of our God and is He your Lord? Let us learn from our text today as
Isaiah paints us a picture of how the Lord will destroy evil, establish justice, and make a way where there seems to

God will Destroy His Enemies Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 34. In our text today we see how God will destroy his enemies. From the beginning of human
existence till the end we are given example of how our God is Lord. Today we live in the Church age in
a time of Grace. Many confuse the God's grace with a weakness or lack of judgment but God will wipe out his enemies. In
making application we too have the tendency to mistake God's Grace for weakness but make no mistake that God will
destroy his enemies. How about you? Do you mistake God's Grace for weakness? Let us learn from our text today and the prophesy
of Isaiah to remember that God will destroy His enemies. Thank You, David Burnette,

A Holy Judge Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 33. In our text today we see the Lord is Judge as these sinners realize that they could not live in
the presence of a Holy God. When we see the truth of who God is, His Holiness, and His Goodness will cause
us to see that we are sinners. This Goodness of God will lead us to repentance. In making application if we see who God
truly is...then we will see us in the light of who we are. Sinners in need of repentance. How about you? Do you see who
God truly is? Let us learn from our text today and the prophesy of Isaiah on how God is a Holy God and this Holiness

The Peace of God Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 32. In our text today we see the prophesy for peace for Israel. What catches my eye is verses 9-13
where the people turned their backs on God and concentrated on their own pleasures. Wealth and Luxury bring false security
and lull us into thinking all is well when disaster is around the corner. In making application we see how poverty is not
always an enemy in our dependence to trust God but how prosperity can allow us to forget God. How about you? Do
you forget God when He allows blessings in your life? Let us learn from our text today and the prophecy of Isaiah who
reminds us the peace of God comes a believer who trusts and depends on the Lord in all circumstances of life. Thank You, David Burnette,

Trusting in EgyptEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 31. In our text today we see the futility of trusting in Egypt when God's people find
themselves in need. Because of their sin they turn to Egypt (a Biblical type of the world) and refused to repent
to the Lord and as a result suffered destruction. In making application we see a current picture of our Country. Finding itself
in need - we too - turn to the world instead of repenting of our sin. Unfortunately our outcome has been prophesied if
we refuse to repent. How about you? Do you see the future of our Nation if we refuse to repent? Let us learn from our
text today and example of Judah that if we find ourselves in need that we repent instead of turning to the world
which will end in destruction. Thank

The Bread of Affliction Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 30. In our text today we see prophesy against rebels. What catches my eye is verse 20 that states the Lord
gave His people the bread of adversity and the water of affliction. In this process of discipline the Lord promised to be
with, to guide, and to teach His people during this difficult time in our lives as He allows it for our good and
His Glory. How about you? Do you see the Lord in difficult times? Let us learn from our text today and the warning of Isaiah that

Reading Your Bible? Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help
us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah
with Chapter 29. In our text today we see Prophesy against Jerusalem as their lips did serve the Lord but their hearts
were far from the Lord. The problem was found in verse 12 where they failed to learn His Words and were unlearned.
In making application we see the importance of daily Bible reading. To know God is to understand the Lord and faith cometh
by hearing and hearing from the Word of God. How about you? Do you read the Bible Daily? Let us learn from our text today
and the warning of Isaiah to read the Bible Daily and not follow the path of Jerusalem because faith cometh by hearing

of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 28. In our text today we see Jerusalem's true and false hopes that are based on true and
false interpretations of doctrine. In making application we see that Scripture taken out of context results in misguided directions.
In our text we are reminded that doctrine is to interpreted precept upon precept to get the true meaning of the
Scriptures. How about you? Do you understand how to properly interpret Scripture? Let us learn from our text today and
the example of Jerusalem to properly interpret Scripture by doctrine by placing precept upon precept and line upon line

Firewood Each day we walk through the Bible
chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each
day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 27. In our text today we see how the Lord
will deliver Israel. What catches my eye is verse 11 where Isaiah compares Israel's spiritual life with dead tree branches
that are broken off and used for fuel. In making application we see that Trees in scripture often represent spiritual life.
The Truck is the channel of strength from God and the branches are people who serve Him. Good branches allow the Holy Spirit
to flow through them and produce fruit while bad branches wither up and are used as fire wood. How about you? What kind of
branch are you? Let us learn from the text of Isaiah to examine our lives to see if we are yielded to the Lord, allowing Him
to flow through us, to produce fruit instead of being useless for the Master use and ultimately, fire wood.
