The Maker of the StarsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 10. In our text today we see the Lord is the God
of Creation and He holds the future in His hand. The people of the Lord wanted to know the future and turned to horoscopes
as they looked to the stars for answers to their question instead of the one who made the stars. In making application we
see that today many place their trust in things instead of the Lord. The truth is we should look to the one who created us
instead of what He has created. How about you? What have you placed your trust? Let us learn from our text today and
the example placed before us in our text to place our trust in the Creator and not His Creation. Thank

Hate Sin while Loving the Sinner Each day we walk through the Bible chapter
by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each
day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 9. In our text today we see Jeremiah weeps for the
people as he felt conflicting emotions as he is angered by their sin but had compassion for the sinner. Later in the New Testament Jesus-Christ
had the same feelings for Jerusalem. In making application we see the heart of God toward sin which should cause us to react
the same. Hate sin but love the sinner. Today we still need to speak out on sin but at the same time love the sinner having
compassion and making a difference in others. How about you? Do you love sinners? Let us learn from our text today and see
the Heart of our Lord so we too should hate sin but love the sinner. Thank You, David

False ProphetsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 8. In our text today we see the people are deceived by
false teachers as they know not the Word of God and go in the wrong direction. In making application we
see that there are false prophets who use the ignorance of the peoples knowledge of the Word of God. Today we see
people believing all kinds of false information because they don't know the Word of God. A false prophet can use part of the
truth to teach their false doctrine. Just as Satan said "hath God said..." challenging them on their position
on God's Word the modern day false prophets do the same. How about you? Do you understand God's Word? Let us learn from our
text today to understand that we have false prophets among us just as they did in Jeremiah's time and if we do not
read and understand the Word of God then we too can be led astray by false prophets. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

Going Through the MotionsEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter
making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we
continue in the Book of Jeremiah 7. In our text today we see the people indulge in false worship
as a ritual by maintained a sinful life-style. It was religion without personal commitment to God. In making application we
can easily follow into going through the motions of Church Attendance while our hearts are far from God. How about you? Do
you find yourself going through the motions? Let us learn from our text today and example of Israel to realize that it possible
to go through the motions of religion but having our heart from God so we may repent and follow our Lord in
true Worship. Thank

Our Sin Affects OthersEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 5. In our text today we see no respect for God from His people in Jerusalem. In verse 7 we see the children of the disobedient fathers suffering due to the children following their example. In making application we see that we never sin unto ourselves. Our sin affects others directly and indirectly. In this process we see the ones we love suffering from our misjudgment. How about you? Do you see your sin affects others? Let us learn from our text today to see that we never sin unto ourselves but our sin always affects others.

Trust the LordEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 6. In our text today we see Jerusalem's last warning
as Jeremiah warned the tribe of Benjamin to flee and to not trust the walled city for security because it was about to be
under siege. In making application we see that the Lord has warned us as a people to repent, that judgment is coming, and
to not put our trust in things that we hold on too so dearly. Our possessions and funds are not secure as it is the Lord that
gives us everything to sustain us so we should look to Him and Obey our Lord verses man or money. How about You? Do you place
your faith in things or the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Isreal to remember to not place our
trust in things but rather place our trust in the Lord and love and obey Him for He first loved us and has given us all we
need. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

Waves of JudgmentEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 4. In our text today we see destruction rolls over
the land as God's people refused to repent and heed the Word of the Lord. In making application we see that today our world
is facing the same attitude as people do not believe that judgment will come as they do not respect or heed the Word of the
Lord. Today people simply do not care what God has to say or believe in the judgment of God. As in Jeremiah's time we will
face this same rolling destruction. We have seen the waves of judgment with our economy, terrorism, sicknesses,
and natural disasters. These waves should drive us to repentance. How about you? Do you respect the Word of the
Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the warning of Jeremiah of the rolling destruction that comes in waves of judgment
if we do not heed the Word of our Lord. Thank

Divorcing GodEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 3. In our text today we see a parity of Judah divorcing
God and marring other gods. Appling the law of Deuteronomy God had every right to permanently disown his people but in His
mercy took them back. In making application we see that our sin has separated us from God but God in His Mercy extends Christ
to us if we simply repent and receive His free gift of salvation. Today many overlook this great opportunity choosing to live
in their sin who's destination is eternal separation in Hell. How about you? Do you see the destructive destination
of sin? Let us learn from our text today to see that we too divorce God by our sin, BUT GOD in His Mercy extends us a way
to be reunited to Him through the forgiving blood of Jesus-Christ. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

Not Politically CorrectEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Jeremiah 2. In our text today we see Jeremiah condemns Judah
for her sins as Israel turns away from God. In making application we see our nation following the same path as Israel
did in our text. Promiscuity, adultery, homosexuality, abortion, idolatry, pride, etc. run ramped in our world today as
people follow the path of sin verses the Word of God. Just as Jeremiah was called of the Lord to tell the Lords people of
its disobedience to God we are called to do the same today. It is not politically correct to tell others of sin but it is
Biblically correct to stand for the truth and expose light on sins darkness. How about you? Do you tell others the truth of
the Bible when confronted with others sin? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Jeremiah to remember that it
might not be politically correct to tell others of sin but it is Biblically correct. Thank You, David Burnette,

Your CallingEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we start in the Book of Jeremiah 1. In our text today we see God calling Jeremiah to
deliver a message to leaders and people of the land of their sin. In making application we see that we have a job to do. As
people of God we too have a calling to share the Gospel with a lost and dying world. We are to be as Jeremiah telling them
the only hope of having their sins forgiven is Jesus-Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. How about you? Do
you see the call of Jeremiah in your life? Let us learn from our text today and the life of Jeremiah to see that we too
have a calling to share the good news of Jesus-Christ to a lost and dying world. Thank You, David Burnette,

Just Passing ThroughEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 65. In our text today we see the new heavens
and new earth reminding us that we are just passing though this world in which we live. Our lives are but a vapor
as we are here today and gone tomorrow. In making application we see the importance of doing His Work and His Will by sharing
the Gospel with those we come in contact with each day. How about you? Do you Share the Gospel? Let us learn from our
text today and the words of Isaiah to remember that life is just a vapor and we must take advantage of the time we are given
to share the Gospel with all we come in contact. Thank

The Potter and the ClayEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 64. In our text today we see the Lord is the Potter
and we are the Clay. In making application we see that the Lord shapes us and molds us with situations and circumstances in
our lives. Today we see that the Lord is still working on us no matter what stage of Christianity we are in. The Potter
knows how much pressure and how much water is needed to mold us and make us into vessels of honor fit for the masters
use. How about you? Do you see the Lord working in your life? Let us learn from our text today with the example of
the Lord being the Potter and we are the Clay to remember that the Lord is working on us with the situations and
circumstances of our lives. Thank

Our Lord CaresEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 63. In our text today we see God's judgment and
loving kindness as the Spirit of God was grieved at the rebellion of His People while he gives rest to the faithful.
In making application we see a God who cares. Some believe that our decisions only affect us but the truth is that we serve
a God that loves us and cares what decisions we make. His love for us is amazing and shows us how much He genuinely cares.
How about you? Do you see how much our Lord cares? Let us learn from our text today to see that our Lord cares and is grieved
when we choose to rebel but is delighted and blesses those who obey because He truly cares about you. Thank You, David Burnette,

ChristiansEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 62. In our text today we see Isaiah praying
for Jerusalem and what catches my eye is verse 12 where the people of Jerusalem have a new name, "the Holy
People "&"the redeemed of the Lord". In making application we see that today we have new names, "Christians"
meaning "little Christ's" as they we were first at Antioch because they resembled Jesus Christ with
their good works. How about you? Are You a believer? If so, d others call you a Christian? Let us
learn from our text today and see that our salvation will produce a change in our lives to the point that others
will call us by a new name, "Christians" Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please

day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 61. In our text today we see a proclamation
for the those who are in need as the good news of Jesus-Christ and the benefits for those who receive the Gospel.
In making application we see a call to the believer to share the Gospel with others and a call for the lost to receive
the good news and the benefits of having a relationship with a Holy God. How about you? Have you responded from
the Gospel? Let us learn from our text today and good news of the Gospel which should cause the lost to get saved

The Light of the WorldEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 60. In our text today we see the future Kingdom
and the promises of glory for God's people. Our Lord is described as a light that shines first on Israel and then to
the nations to dispel darkness. In making application we see that this same light resided in the heart of the believer. We
are to continue to share this Light of the Lord to a lost and dying world which lives in darkness. How about you? Do
you radiate the light of the world to a dark world? Let us learn from our text today to see the Lord is the light of
the world and we are to radiate this light to a lost and dying world which is in darkness. Thank You, David Burnette,

The High Price of SinEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 59. In our text today we see warnings against sin
as we see how sin separates unholy men from a Holy God. In making application we see the bases of Salvation through our
Lord Jesus Christ. It takes a Holy Sacrifice to allow sinful man to made righteous in His Eyes. This is why
our good works and efforts can not pay a price that only Christ can pay. How about you? Do you see high
price of sin? Let us learn from our text today and the reminder that the high price of our sin demands
a God sized price tag and that price for our salvation is Jesus Christ. Thank You, David Burnette,

day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 58. In our text today we see an admonition
to share with the needy. We cannot be saved by our works but our salvation will produce good works as we allow the
Lord to live through us. In making application we see a life of a saved individual will produce good works of Christ
which includes helping the needy and loving others. How about you? Are you saved? If so, does your life produce
good works? Let us learn from our text today and the reminder from Isaiah that a life saved through Jesus-Christ

day's text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 57. In our text today we see that the
Godly shall rest in peace but the wicked are like a troubled sea. In making application we see that living Godly has its benefits
as it brings peace to our lives. Our motivation to Godly living should be obedience but as we serve the Lord we
see Him responding to us in a blessing of peace. How about you? Do you have peace in your life? Let us learn from our

House of PrayerEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by
chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's
text. Today we continue in the Book of Isaiah with Chapter 56. In our text today we see Blessings for the Gentiles
seeing both Jew and Gentile will be of one body in . What catches my eye is verse 7 where the Lord states that His House will
be called a house of prayer for all nations. IN making application we see that the Church fulfills this prophecy for modern
day Christians. We can gather in prayer making petitions to our Lord who hears and responds according to His Will for our
lives. How about you? Do you attend Church and participate in this gift of the Lord of Praying to a Holy God? Let us learn
from our text today and remember that we can pray but when we all gather at House of God and pray we are fulfilling this prophecy
of our Lord. Thank You, David Burnette, Director:U.S.Bible Society Please Contact Me with Any Questions or Comments,

for those who seek Him. I love verse 6 that says we are to seek the Lord while He may be found and to call on Him while He
is near. In making application we see that in the day of Grace of which we live we are to seek the Lord for there is a day
when God will shut the door. Just in the days of Noah before the flood God has extended us a time where we can repent and
be saved. We can seek the Lord for guidance in our lives and he will listen and respond to our situations according to His
Will for our lives. How about you? Have you sought the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the reminder of Isaiah the

RememberEach day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application
of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the Book
of Isaiah with Chapter 51. In our text today we see how God's people must fear, or reverence, the Lord. In our text today
Jerusalem feared the Babylonians who threatened to harm them instead of remembering the Lord who had delivered them. In making
application we will face enemies who will threaten us and will cause us to be fearful. Our proper response is to remember
what God has done for us, the promises in His Word, and we should fear and reverence our Lord. How about you? Are you facing
an enemy in your life. Let us learn from our text today to remember that we are to fear the Lord for what He has done and
what He will do instead of the threats of the enemy. Thank You, David Burnette,
